Clinical and field placements are a core part of our programs, giving students hands-on exposure to hospitals, community agencies, group homes, rehabilitation centres, nursing and retirement homes, educational institutions, shelters, and other relevant care settings.
The Developmental Support Worker and Mental Health and Addictions programs offer practical placements across a range of environments, enriching learning and strengthening career readiness. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
Applicants must pass the Wonderlic pre-admission test (if Grade 12 or an equivalent credential is not available)
Applicants must hold valid Standard CPR & First Aid (Level C) certification
Applicants must submit a current, cleared medical certificate
Applicants must provide a cleared Vulnerable Sector Police Check

Yes. Dominion College of Business, Health and Technology Inc. is a registered Private Career College in Ontario. Registration can be verified through the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities by emailing pcc@ontario.ca

Admission requirements are listed on our Admissions page. After you apply, you will receive an acknowledgement and our Admissions team will advise you if additional information or documents are required.
Once accepted, you will be scheduled for your student photo. ID cards are typically ready within five business days after the photo has been taken.
If you decide not to attend, you must notify the Administrator and formally withdraw. Refunds are issued according to the College’s official withdrawal and refund policy.
Students may request exemptions based on advanced standing. Exemption applications must be submitted at least 15 business days before the start of classes.
Your student ID appears in your acceptance letter. For security reasons, ID numbers are not released by phone. If you need to recover your student ID, visit the College with photo ID or email your full details to info@dominioncollege.com
